Message | Private WiFi address turned off

This message appears when the private WiFi setting on a device has been turned off. If you want your device to connect to the Stanford network, this setting must be turned off.

To use the Stanford network, your device must be registered with a unique, persistent hardware (or MAC) address. Turning the private wifi setting on will randomize the device's hardware address, so it will be unable to connect to the Stanford network.
